Mitochondria are dynamic organelles with crucial roles in cellular physiology, and whose dysfunction is associated with multiple human diseases. In recent years there have been major advances in both basic and clinical mitochondrial research. This symposium will bring together established and aspiring scientists with a multidisciplinary interest in mitochondria. The program will combine key lectures from experts in mitochondrial bionergetics, physiology and genetics, with oral communications selected from the submitted abstracts. Poster sessions will allow participants to discuss their work with fellow scientists and extend collaborative networks. After a productive scientific meeting in Porto, why not extend your stay in this European Top Destination?
News: The Biochemical Journal will be sponsoring our Best Poster Awards.
