Bottom of the Punch Bowl, the new CD by the MITHRIL DUO, is now available!

Andra Bohnet and Tom Morley, original co-founders of the Celtic/World music band Mithril, return to their Celtic roots in more ways than one with their new release, Bottom of the Punch Bowl. This seventh album is most unique of all the Mithril projects with

an intoxicating mix of musical spirits from Ireland, Scotland, Shetland Islands, Isle of Man, and Sweden, played on flutes, whistles, Celtic harp, Scottish smallpipes, fiddle, guitar, and Swedish nyckelharpa. The CD features “Celtic Baroque” compositions from Turlough O’Carolan, Neil Gow, and James Oswald, a tribute to the Bothy Band, a set of Swedish traditional tunes, and a multilayered arrangement of tunes from the soundtrack to Outlander.

Listen to samples and order the CD or download tracks at www.cdbaby.com.

The CD is available locally at Ashland Gallery, 2321 Old Shell Rd. in Mobile, and Dr. Music, 9 Church St. in Fairhope.

Read the liner notes here.

And, of course, all of our other CD's are available in hard copy and for digital download on iTunes,  CD Baby and Amazon.
