Hey everybody!!!
Andra here ~ As the nominal keeper of this website I must admit I have been a total slacker in this regard so this is my attempt to catch things up. We just returned from playing an an awesome concert with the Johnson City Symphony in Johnson City, TN. The entire concert can be viewed here. I'm especially excited because I did two new orchestral arrangements that had their premiere on this concert - Misty Mountains/Blunt the Knives and May it Be to fit with the Lord of the Rings theme of this show. Enjoy and slanté!! And check back to see what we'll be up to in the near future.

Bottom of the Punch Bowl, the new CD by the MITHRIL DUO, is now available!

Andra Bohnet and Tom Morley, original co-founders of the Celtic/World music band Mithril, return to their Celtic roots in more ways than one with their new release, Bottom of the Punch Bowl. This seventh album is most unique of all the Mithril projects with

an intoxicating mix of musical spirits from Ireland, Scotland, Shetland Islands, Isle of Man, and Sweden, played on flutes, whistles, Celtic harp, Scottish smallpipes, fiddle, guitar, and Swedish nyckelharpa. The CD features “Celtic Baroque” compositions from Turlough O’Carolan, Neil Gow, and James Oswald, a tribute to the Bothy Band, a set of Swedish traditional tunes, and a multilayered arrangement of tunes from the soundtrack to Outlander.

We are excited about the airplay we've already received on Alabama Public Radio, Marc Gunn's top-rated Irish & Celtic Music Podcast, & Catt Sirten's 92ZEW Radio Avalon!!
