Jennifer Mitchell Nevin is a curator based in New York City and Blue HIll Maine.

She enjoys the creative process and the collaborative effort of bringing an exhibition together: culling the work, discussing the placement, dissecting a concept in the works to be displayed, and working with private collections.  She loves the hunt.  One of the most thrilling aspects of curating a show is meeting the artists and hearing their stories, coming to know the person and the inspiration behind the work.    She has met artists who are teachers and students, editors, fishermen, carpenters, furniture makers, art movers and museum guards.

Jennifer is most fulfilled by curating special exhibits for charitable causes.
Her key art interest is American painting from the 1930s to 1940s, American impressionists, European moderns, contemporary paintings, painters from Maine, and old master painters.
