Marilyn Peschong Memorial Scholarship

“The will of God will never lead you where the grace of God will not protect you.”  Those were the words the Steve Peschong family lived by during his late wife Marilyn's battle with cancer.  For anyone that knew Marilyn, she left a footprint on your heart that will never be forgotten.  She lived her Catholic faith fervently.  It is apparent in the lives of her children and grandchildren today.   They have a faith that is unshaken even with the loss of their wife, mother, and grandmother. Steve and Marilyn were blessed to raise seven children, each of whom attended Mitchell Catholic Schools.  Steve ('68) and Marilyn ('70) are also Notre Dame School alumni themselves.   These factors made the decision easy for Steve to start  a named scholarship endowment through the MFCE in Marilyn's memory .
