  • Second meeting with City to finalize outdoor court at Mississauga Valley Community Centre.
  • Newsletter announcing launch.
  • Launch of outdoor pickleball at Mississauga Valley Community Centre.

  • Demonstration of pickleball at South Common Senior Days
  • Painting of pickleball lines at Mississauga Valley Community Centre
  • Launch of outdoor pickleball at Sheridan Tennis Club

April 2016
  • First meeting with City of Mississauga to discuss outdoor courts.
  • First Newsletter issued.
  • Cancellation of evening pickleball at Cawthra Seniors Centre due to high cost of rental of City facilities.

October 2011
  • Fall  League started on October  7th
  • Hosted a very successful Invitational Tournament on October 18th for 34 players from Port Perry to Kitchener

  • Set up Booth at 55+ Inspired Living Fair – Mississauga Seniors Centre
  • Spring League started April 29th

March 2011       

  • Scarborough Pickleball players visit PMA for competition and fun
  • Affiliation with the City of Mississauga Recreation and Parks Division

February 2011     

  • Mississauga Sports Week – Pickleball Demo – Watch it, Try it, Join it
  • Exhibit promoting Pickleball in Mississauga at the Leisure and Sports Show
  • Membership with Mississauga Sports Council

January 2011    

  • Host Pickleball Showcase, in partnership with the Mississauga Senior Games, with support from CAAWS
  • New Winter League Play begins

December 2010

Application for Affiliation with the City of Mississauga completed and presented to

City of Mississauga, Community Services Department, Recreation and Parks Division

Pickleball Mississauga Association was formed on or about November 24, 2010.

The board comprised the following members:
