Our Priests

Father Peter Devereux LC
Fr. Peter Devereux, LC, was born in Dunedin, New Zealand. He is the fourth of seven boys as well as the first of three priests in the Devereux family. He received philosophy and theology degrees in Rome, Italy, at the Regina Apostolorum, before being ordained on January 1, 2000. As a priest, he has spent 11 years as a chaplain to Pinecrest Academy, in Atlanta, GA. He is a wonderful preacher, close friend to many priests, and enjoys tennis. Starting in August, Fr. Peter will reside in the Legionary of Christ community in San Jose and serve at the retreat center.

Father Juan Guerra LC

Father Juan Gabriel Guerra LC was born in Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico, July 4th, 1964. He had 8 siblings. He joined the Legion at the age of 12 years old, Tlalpan Apostolic School, Summer 1976. He worked in an Internship as Dean of Discipline at Moncada, Spain, Apostolic School, 1983-1985, and then was Dean of Studies at Ajusco AS, 1985-87. He has obtained a BA in humanities(classics)-1983, a BA in philosophy from the Gregorian University-1989, and a BA in Theology at St. Thomas Aquinas and Mater Ecclesiae-1991. Father Juan has also studied at the Domenican University in Rome and Regina Apostolorum College. Father Juan's work as a priest includes:

  • S. Director for Youth groups in Chile, 1991-1992
  • Chaplain for Oaklawn Academy 1992-98.
  • Men and Women's section director for Chicago (1992-1995);
  • Men and Women's section director for Minneapolis (1995-98).
  • Young men Section Director: Detroit, 1998-2008
  • Young men Hispanic S. Director and St. Mathew´s Assistant pastor: Atlanta 2008
  • Currently, Father Juan resides in the Cumming, GA where he serves as parochial vicar for St. Brendan's the Navigator.

Father David Daly LC

Fr. David Daly, LC is a native of St. Louis, MO. He attended St. Louis University High School and then the University of Dallas. In 1990 he entered the novitiate of the Legionaries of Christ in Cheshire, CT.

He completed his studies in Rome, earning his bachelor’s degree in philosophy from the Gregorian University and licentiate degrees in moral theology and in philosophy, both from Regina Apostolorum Pontifical Atheneum.

Since his ordination on January 2, 2001, he has served as vice rector in various seminaries in Europe and the United States. He has also spent several years working in campus ministry to college students in New England. Currently he is working as the Local Coordinator of Apostolate for the Regnum Christi Movement in Atlanta, GA.


Father Dominic Pham, LC:

1974- Born in Vietnam and grew up in New Orleans.

1988-1991- Studied at Immaculate Conception Apostolic School

1991-Entered Novitiate, making first profession in 1993 and final profession in 1999.

Father Dominic has worked with the youth all his Legionary life, first in Texas, Louisiana and St. Louis, then in Ireland at Dublin Oak Academy, a language academy for international students. Father was ordained in 2004 in Rome, and has done all his priestly ministry in Atlanta. He served for several years as the chaplain of Pinecrest Academy. Father's favorite activities are weekend retreats for students and missions, especially foreign missions, to serve the poor and sick. Father Dominic currently resides in the Atlanta, GA community.
