Sr. Member of Technical Staff
Cadence Design Systems, Inc.
From December 2011 I have been a Sr. Member of Technical Staff at Cadence Design Systems, working on technology development for Virtual Platforms in the Embedded System domain.
From January 2009 until December 2011 I was a Post-Doctorate Research Scientist in the System-Level Design (SLD) group in the CS Department at Columbia University, under the supervision of prof. Luca Carloni.
I received a Ph.D. degree in Electronic Engineering from Politecnico di Torino in 2009. Between 2007 and 2008 I also visited the CS Department at Columbia University as a Ph.D. student. I earned a M.Sc. degree in Computer and Communication Networks Engineering from Politecnico di Torino in 2005.
My research focuses on the design methodologies for complex Systems-on-Chip, with particular attention on the power management, the architectural aspects, the on-chip communication infrastructure and the interaction between hardware and software.
