I have been developing prototype systems along the way of my research activities. Here are some of the links:

**Topic Trend & Relation
http://54.186.54.93:8080/wok/ (test query: Cadmium & Lead. I am exploring Elsevier API for this tool originally designed for Web of Science API. New version coming soon. )

This demo aims to reveal the research trend about a search query. It 1) visualizes the trend and relations of the emerging topics for any search query; 2) organize the relevant papers by subtopics and navigate them in an interactive manner; and 3) support exploratory search by interacting with the graph

** AutoFAQ:

This is a demo showcasing how we clean and organize the user-generated question answer pairs and make them as useful as expert compiled FAQs. To make the QA pairs more accessible, the archives of data are presented in a hierarchical overview of topics. When you search the QA archive, each result will be showing itself in the topic structure assisting you to find other related QAs.

** OneSearch:

OneSearch aggregates User-Generated-Content from various sources and in different languages as knowledge bases to answer people's question with direct answers. Different from commercial search engines, we emphasize the analysis of queries expressed in natural language sentences and assessment of the quality of content. Answers are in the forms of encyclopedia entries, video instructions, community expert suggestions. Try out and have some fun.

** Journals/Conferences@Your Fingertip
http://www.applications.sciverse.com/action/appDetail/299147?zone=main&pageOrigin=appGallery&activity=display (The app gallery is retired... I am setting up a service on my own site soon.)

This is a digital library tool that boosts your research by quickly identifying the top journal and/or conference titles, ranked by their relevance to the results retrieved from your search terms.
