February Meeting, 2-26-14, 6:30 PM
There will be a show-and-tell to review the 2014 Tucson experience!
Bring your new treasures and tall tales to the meeting.
For those who've never been to the Tucson G&MS extravaganza, this is a perfect opportunity to find out
what goes on there, and why mineral collectors get so excited about the Mecca of Mineralogy.
This event takes the place of our regular monthly meeting that is usually held in:
Room 375 (3rd Floor) in the Sutton Building.
University of Utah Campus
115 South 1460 East, SLC, 84112
Dues for 2013 are Payable: Please remit to our new Treasurer, Ingo Valentin, or to Carol Forrester, MCU Secretary. Keep your membership current! Also, be sure to complete the membership form so we can stay in touch.
• Membership in MCU is open to people of all ages who are interested in minerals, are eager to collect and learn more about them, and want to share their passion with others.
• Club meetings are held on the last Wednesday of every month with exceptions, beginning at 6:30 PM.
• In addition to our regular meetings, the club sponsors collecting field trips, visits to look at others' collections, and a Mineral Show every September-October that is open to the general public.
Newcomers and nonmembers are always welcome!
Mineral Collectors of Utah is a tax-exempt, non-profit organization.
