Striped Keychain Purse

Finished Measurement: Mini purse is approx. 1 ¾ by 1 ¼ inches
Inox crochet hook, size 2.5 mm.
Stitch marker or safety pin
Yarn needle for weaving ends
Gauge: 8 sts and 8 sc rows = 1”
rnd = round, sc tog = single crochet together
Rnd 2: 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 10 sc, 2 sc in next 2 sc, sc in next 10 sc, 2 sc in last sc (28 sc)
Rnd 3: Sc on each sc around (28 sc)
At the end of rnd 12, sc on next 2 sc, ss on next (note: the ss just made will be the base of the keychain loop), ch 6, ss again on same sc, ss on the next 14 sc. Continue to work on the flap.
Row 1: Ch 1, sc on the next 13 sc. Ch 1, turn.
Row 2: sk the 1st sc, sc on next 12 sc. Ch 1, turn.
Row 3-5: continue decreasing one sc per row until 9 sc remain. Ch 1, turn.
Row 6: sk the 1st sc, sc on next 3 sc, ch 3, sk 2 sc, sc on last 3 sc. Ch 1, turn.
Row 7: sk the 1st sc, sc on next 2 sc, 3 sc on ch 3 space, sc on next sc, sc tog the last 2 sc. Ch 1, turn.
Row 8: sk the 1st sc, ss on next 5 sc, sc. Fasten off. Weave in end.
Sew button in place and attach keyring.
