On the 2nd, 6th, 8th, 11th of Feb 09 I sent a letter to BBC Complaints, Glasgow about the outages. By bombarding them with that, the problem seemed to have been solved.
As we meet requirements for free digital equipment, I've asked them to send us a multi-channel digital to analogue converter - as all the equipment I've seen just seems to handle one channel :( The one we've got is obviously currently doing BBC2to a VCR providing RF analogue out to our tv system.
Briantistpmailkeey: Sorry, but there is no such thing as a " multi-channel digital to analogue converter", it just doesn't work like that.

pmailkeeyYes there is such a thing as a multi-channel digital to analogue converter; it's called a Multibox and the ones I've seen convert 6 channels. I only found out about those via Gordon Burns on North West Tonight after the switch-over when all the problems became apparent.

Anyway, we're not going to spend money on this technology as it'll likely be obsolete in 5 year's time as we'll all be watching via the Internet - after all, we won't be restricted by what's available on the local transmitter or by what the country makes - it'll be global TV.
