For Want of a Nickel - Some people's purpose in life seems only to be a warning for others. Richmond-native Adam Brownleaf can't seem to get his life moving. From his teenage years on Adam has fallen short and must face a life of disappointment and unintended consequences. Each time he has a chance to pick himself up, on question always seems to hold him back.

Can anybody spare some change?

This title remains in development as the first chapter is delayed until one very simple question can be answered. Part of the back story of Adam is that his father was injured in the fire at the Tredegar Iron Works in 1952. So far Keith's research has only been able to pinpoint the year to 1952, despite a book stating it as 1955. All other details about the fire cannot currently be ascertained without some genuine research, which Keith has not had the time to do, presently.
If you have any details about the fire, please contact outreach@aois21.com and you will be properly thanked in the acknowledgements section.

Here we go with version 3 of the For Want of a Nickel webpage, following the original launch page and the page connected to the aois21 post. As with anything Keith writes, a full outline and chapter structure is already complete. Keith has also written the first and last pages already. It's always better to keep your story on point if you've already got the ending. Keith is putting most of his attention into writing Andy 4 President currently, as well as completing the editing and polishing of Life's Penance before the end of the year. If all goes to plan, For Want of a Nickel will be written as part of National Novel Writing Month this November. Check back here and on the soon to be published Facebook page as For Want of a Nickel comes in to being.
