Congratulations Kathy Porycki and Jean Parrish for completing your Baltimore Album quilts.  Look at these great quilts!
Keep an eye out for more of these great quilts which are the result of the Baltimore Album style applique' classes that were taught by our very own Judy Brumbaugh.

Quilters Gathering

The quilting gods must have been looking down on us on Saturday (03/20/10). It was the first day of Spring  and the sun was shinning brightly. 49 ladies made the trip to the Delaware Township Building. It turned out to be a fun, busy and well fed day. The project was fairly easy and the Show
and Tell was great. I want to thank everyone who brought dessert and Dixie Frances for letting us borrow her tablecloths. They made the room very festive. I also want to thank Janie Kroener and Kathy Teitsma for all their help and ideas. They contributed greatly to making the day a success. We added $239.00 to the Scholarship Fund. It was such fun and hopefully, the start of a new tradition.

Helen Umstead is our Show and Tell spotlight for March 2010.  This quilt was put together using Churn Dash blocks made by friends participating in a "Block of the Month" game.  Beautiful hand quilting is her specialty.  Lucky boy... this one goes to her son!  Way to go Helen!
