Milad Baghersad

I am a 4th year PhD candidate (ABD) in Management Science at Pamplin College of Business, Virginia Tech. My secondary major is Disaster Risk Management.

During my first two years at Virginia Tech, I served as a graduate assistant for the Interdisciplinary Graduate Education Program in Disaster Resilience.  I am honored to work with professor Christopher W. Zobel during my PhD.

My current research is focused on supply chain disruptions  and   resilience strategies. I am also interested in the perception of resilience in the context of supply chain disruptions. I am utilizing a scenario-based role-playing experiment to study perception of resilience.
