Bienvenidos / Bem-vindos!

Welcome to the Mike Acuña Student Library!

The Graduate Student Organization of the Spanish and Portuguese Department at The University of Texas at Austin created this library in memory of fellow student Mike Acuña, who passed away in 2010.

The main purpose of this library is to provide MA students with the core catalogue needed for the first years of study, as well as for the comprehensive exams in Hispanic and Luso-Brazilian Literature.

Our catalogue currently contains over 250 references. Since February 2011 the library holds the James R. Nicolopulos Collection.

This site also provides information on how to use the library, and ways to donate.

The library is currently located in BEN 4.102.
