3 cups flour
2/3 cups sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup raisins or dried cranberries (optional)
1 1/4 cups buttermilk
2 tablespoons butter, melted
Combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a large bowl and whisk to blend. Add raisin if using any.
Beat eggs and mix with buttermilk and cooled melted butter.
Add mixture to dry ingredients and stir until moistened.
Pour into greased 9" pie plate. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
