The flowers today are given by the Schmeling Family in memory of loved ones.

Flower Sponsors

There are several dates still open (including the next two) to sponsor the flowers one Sunday in 2019. Check out the chart at the Info Center to see what’s left. Cost is $30, and you can take them with you, or have the visitation team deliver them. See Courtney Riegler or Roberta Kallas with questions.

Bunco Night

Hey ladies - are you ready for BUNCO?? Clear your calendar for Friday,   January 18th from 7:00 - 9:00 pm. Don't know how to play? No worries - it's easy to learn! Bring a snack to share and a friend.

Annual Congregational Meeting January 27th

We will have one service that day at 10:30am followed by the meeting and a potluck lunch. Sunday School will be at 9:15am.

Potluck Sign Up

Please sign up at the Info Center if you’re planning to attend and/or can help the Deacons set up/clean up on the 27th.

Task Team

A Task Team is being formed to explore what, if anything, we might do to enhance the property to the west of the church (where the playground is   located). Contact Teri Eriksen, Denny Anthony or Kathi Bubb for more       information or if you are interested in joining the Task Team.

Griefshare at Peace Lutheran begins on Wednesday, January 9th, 1-2:30pm. This 13-week program runs thru April 3rd. Cost is $15 to cover the workbook. You can register at or 614-337-1000 or walk ins are     acceptable. Mifflin’s Griefshare will begin on Monday mornings after Easter.

Today is Jim Bradshaw’s 80th birthday! They are celebrating with an Open House from 1pm to 6pm at the clubhouse in their neighborhood (5639       Caledonia Dr, Westerville). Please come and help Jim celebrate!

Mifflin Book Club

We hope that you will join the Book Club this year as we read books from the PBS Great American Book list. January's book is The Giver by Lois Lowry, and we will read the classic Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen in February. We meet the fourth Mondays at 7pm in the church library - all are welcome!

Winter Youth Retreat

Presbytery's Camp Akita Winter Youth Retreat is February 22-24, 2019 and is open to all youth from 6th-12th grade. Christian Ed Cornerstone will subsidize $45. Note that t-shirts are an additional cost this year and are therefore     optional. If your youth would like to attend, please return your completed form and $45 ($55 if ordering a t-shirt) to Julie Oswalt by Jan. 20th.

Thank you to all who came to the City BBQ fundraiser! We raised $267 that will help the MdL Service Team headed to Honduras next June. Your support is very much appreciated. We have a fantastic Mifflin family!

Operation Street Smart, Saturday, February 9 from 9-1

This program is provided by the Franklin County Sherriff’s Department. The target audience for this adult program is parents, grandparents, teachers, and youth workers. The goal of this program is to provide current and up-to-date narcotics information on trends, terminology, paraphernalia, and physiological effects to those individuals who deal with today's youth on a daily basis. Invite your friends for this important information. Contact Marquell with questions.

Make your Money Count!

Using an assigned box of offering envelopes is the best way to be sure your offering goes toward the pledge you have made. Using your envelopes helps to ensure accurate recording and eliminates confusion between families with the same last name. Offering envelopes for 2019 have been assigned if you checked the appropriate box on your pledge card. If you did not find your box, please sign the tablet on the table or call Phyllis Fritz (864-2728) and a box will be placed on the table outside of the library next Sunday. Most members have been assigned a new number, so please discard any old envelopes.
