Citizenship Tutoring - Tutoría en Ciudadanía

El objetivo de esta tutoría es preparar al estudiante para el examen de ciudadanía (naturalización) de los Estados Unidos. Las sesiones incluyen:
  • El estudio y explicación de las 100 preguntas de Historia, Geografía y Cívica de los Estados Unidos.
  • Repaso de inglés escrito y oral para la entrevista.
  • Revisión del formulario oficial N-400 que es revisado durante la entrevista.
The objective of the tutoring sessions is to prepare the student for the US citizenship Interview and includes:
  • Review and explanation of the 100 questions which include History, Geography and Civics content of the United States.
  • Review of basic English structures for reading and written portion of the test.
  • Review and discussion of the N-400 (Naturalization) form.
General requirements for naturalization call for the immigrant to:
  1. Be at least 18 years old at the time of filing the Application for Naturalization (Form N-400).
  2. Be a lawfully admitted permanent resident of the United States.
  3. At the time of filing the application, have been a permanent resident in the United States for at least 5 years (or for at least 3 years if you meet all eligibility requirements to file as a spouse of a United States citizen).
  4. Have demonstrated continuous permanent residence.
  5. Have demonstrated physical presence
  6. Have lived within the State or USCIS District for at least 3 months prior to filing.
  7. Have demonstrated good moral character.
  8. Demonstrate an attachment to the principles and ideals of the U.S. Constitution.
  9. Demonstrate an ability to read, write, speak, and understand basic English.
  10. Demonstrate a basic knowledge of U.S. history, government, and civic principles.
  11. Swear an oath of allegiance to the United States.
