MTC-SNA Last Monthly Meeting of Fall 2015

November's Meeting is Nov. 19th from 5-6pm in HSB 144 (the auditorium). 
Our Guest Speaker will be Kennon Harrison, Jr. Executive Director- Healthcare for USC-Columbia. He will be talking about MTC and USC's Articulation Program. 
Also Representatives from Palmetto Health will be there to answer questions about their Nurse Residency Program.

Convention in a Day 
When: November 21, 2015 from 10:30am-3:30pm 
Where: Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center
(1101 Lincoln Street Columbia SC, 29201) 

This is a "make-up day" form State Convention that was held early October and was canceled after 24hrs of being there due to the Hurricane and flooding in SC. 
Anyone is welcome to attend this "Convention In A Day" event; it is a free just make sure to RSVP Here and lunch will be provided. 

Convention In A Day will include:
- Council of State Representatives - (COSR)
- Caucusing and Voting for the 2015-2016 SNA-SC Executive Board
- A Speaker and Lunch
- Voting on Bylaws Changes
- Announcement of the New SNA-SC Executive Board

Three of your MTC #SNAfamily will be running for State Board Positions (Sarah Hardin, Michael Cooper, and Tia Williams). So Come Help Support them and see what other Nursing Students in this State are doing. This is a great way to help you stay motivated towards your future nursing career! We look forward to seeing each and everyone of you there!

Where do I start?
Local MTC SNA Meetings:
Our Local meetings are held once a month on the Airport Campus of Midlands Technical College to keep everyone informed and involved in MTC's local SNA efforts and activities. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE IN CLINICALS to be a part of SNA. These meetings are a great place to get started. You don't have to go through nursing school alone. PARTICIPATION IS STRICTLY VOLUNTARY - No activities or meetings are mandatory
