MTC SNA Monthly Meetings:
Our Final Meeting of Spring 2016 is:
Thursday April 21st: Elections will be held for the new 2016-2017 MTC-SNA Executive Board and Voting on amendments to the current bylaws.
Guest Speaker: Tiffany Bartholomew RN, BSN, Nurse Educator at Palmetto Health Richland.
Time: 5pm-6pm
Room: HSB 144 (the auditorium)

If anyone is planning on running for a board position you will need to do the following:
1. If you are planning to run and already know what position you would like on the board email myself (Annie Mack president@mtc-sna.org) or MTC SNA's NEC/Historian Tia Williams (nec@mtc-sna.org) to be what is called a PreSlated Candidate. 
2. Email should contain: Your Name, What semester you are in the Nursing Program or if you are a Pre-Nursing Student, What position you are running for, Why you want to run for this position, and what experiences or skills you have that would be beneficial for the position. 
3. To be a PreSlated Candidate an email will need to be submitted by April 17th at 11:59pm. 
4. If you decide to run after this date you will run from the floor at the meeting on April 21st and will need to be nominated by another person. 

5. You will need to have a maximum of a minute speech just telling the general members basically what I stated above for the email. If you will not be present for the meeting please submit that email so one of the board members can speak on your behalf.

Local MTC SNA Meetings:
Our Local meetings are held once a month on the Airport Campus of Midlands Technical College to keep everyone informed and involved in MTC's local SNA efforts and activities. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE IN CLINICALS to be a part of SNA. These meetings are a great place to get started. You don't have to go through nursing school alone. PARTICIPATION IS STRICTLY VOLUNTARY - No activities or meetings are mandatory
