We will be holding a first ever senior relays at Hayes on 11th September. The course will be a mix of road and trail around the Minet Cycle circuit. There will be three legs of 5K, with the first leg starting at 4:15pm.
Entries are open to ALL clubs Middlesex or not, and are only £11 per team and can be made via the form here.
There will be medals for the first male & female team from Middlesex and prizes for the fastest legs: men, women, M40 and W35.
It's been a busy month of Inter-Counties matches, finishing with two matches on the last weekend.
As the senior match at Bedford ended it looks like the men have won the national title again, albeit sharing it with Essex. The women were third.
In the U13 match at Kingston the teams finished seventh overall, despite some athletes not being able to make it to the match due to the disruption caused by the cycle race. The month started with our first ever overall win in the Southern Senior Inter-Counties match. We squeaked pass Essex in the last three events to beat them 698 to 695 at Basingstoke. Entries are open for the Middlesex 10k, incorporating the County 10k Championship, to be held in Victoria Park, Hackney on Sunday, 4 September.

The Moel Eilio is an iconic fell race set in the heart of Snowdonia climbing out of Llanberis and taking in the summits of Moel Eilio, Foel Gron, Foel Goch and Moel Cynghorion before descending back in to the village. It is a tough event, with 12.8km of distance and 915m of climb. The Inter-Counties event will be held within the Open race, and more details can be found on the event facebook page at www.facebook.com/rasmoeleilio/.
Senior athletes must have been born in 1997 or before. (This equates to 19 or over). Awards will be presented to individual Senior athletes, to individual Under-23 athletes, and to male/female teams. Teams may comprise 4 athletes, or 5 athletes if one of the team is Under-23, with the first three finishers to count.
