I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Melbourne. I joined the Department in October of 2005 after completing my PhD at the University of British Columbia.
My main research interests are Labour Economics, the Economics of Education and Applied Micro-econometrics. I have particular interests in the effects of education, trade and technology on labour market outcomes; the role of parental background in determining youth education outcomes; the determinants of student success; the gender wage gap; and earnings inequality.
