Nicole McCleese has a B.A. in English and Spanish from Central Michigan University, and a M.A. in English from Michigan State University.  Nicole is an ABD doctoral student in English at MSU.  Her research interests include experimental fiction, especially representations of masochism in 20th and 21st century literature, postmodern feminism, queer studies, and theoretical work on sexuality. She has taught basic writing, college writing, and introduction to the humanities.  Courses taught at MSU: IAH 221C: Great Ages of the Modern World, ENG 232: Writing as Exploration, ENG 230: Introduction to Film, and the ISHALL program, a gifted and talented program for secondary students.
