Welcome to Michigan State's Student Affiliates in School Psychology!

Welcome to Michigan State University's Student Affiliates in School Psychology (SASP).  SASP is a student organization which seeks to build community and provide resources for students in school psychology.  The purpose of this organization is to prepare school psychology students for their future roles by providing relevant opportunities.  Additionally, a goal of this organization is to provide opportunities for connections between other members of SASP, both at Michigan State University and at other universities.  SASP is a great way to meet your fellow students, ask questions, and get answers.  There are lots of opportunities to become involved with leadership and service.  In addition, we have committees for community outreach, student support, diversity, newsletter, fundraising, and social activities.  Most importantly, SASP members manage to have a lot fun! We have hosted a progressive dinner, tailgated at the Spartan football games, gone cross country skiing, gone to corn mazes, gone apple picking, and attended many Lansing Lugnuts baseball games.

Check out our website and feel free to ask any executive board members if you have any questions about SASP.

SASP Mission Statement: The student who is informed of and involved in professional issues today forms the nexus to a strong discipline in the future.  This organization is designed to keep graduate students appraised of issues pertaining to school psychology, as well as participating in activities that will further strengthen this discipline in the future.
