Welcome to my website! I am currently an Assistant Director in the Division of Monetary Affairs (MA) at the Federal Reserve Board in Washington, DC.
Prior to joining MA, I was an economist at the Board in the Division of International Finance. During my time at the Board I have covered and done research on both domestic and international financial markets, and in particular fixed income markets.
My interests and fields of research include financial econometrics, monetary policy, and textual analysis. Projects that I am currently actively working on include using NLP to capture the content of FOMC's communications as well as measuring market-based sentiment of central bank communications to help explain the impact of Fed communications on financial markets and the economy. I am also working on projects to analyze cross-border spillovers in asset prices from monetary policy decisions domestically and abroad and how to better measure monetary policy surprises.
