The attached documents are your final exam.

  1. You will need to turn in a portfolio that includes the attached Food Mile Challenge and also demonstrates that you have completed the project.
  2. On the day of your final exam, each student needs to bring a sustainable dish to share (and a serving utensil), and do a presentation about how the meal you prepared was sustainable.  All of the criteria are attached.
Have fun - and get your family involved!

Save the Date: June 2

posted Apr 19, 2012, 7:38 PM by Michelle Stern   [ updated Apr 19, 2012, 7:39 PM ]

Please save the date - Saturday, June 2.

It's the big day - our Sustainable Food Art show through Lexicon of Sustainability.  Plus, we get to partner with MSA and their Art Fest, so we can spread the word about sustainable food even further!

If you come and help our event, you will earn community service hours and maybe even some extra credit.  We will be selling my book. The Whole Family Cookbook, which teaches families how to cook REAL food together.  It is also my hope that we will be able to host a small farmer's market along with some wonderful people from the community that support youth leadership and environmental health.

You won't want to miss it.
