Chers citoyennes et citoyens de Val-des-Monts,

Je termine mon premier mandat de conseiller du District # 6 avec un sentiment du devoir accompli. Lorsqu'on se lance en politique on le fait avec plein de bonnes intentions, beaucoup de projets et une détermination à aider sa communauté. J'ai appris beaucoup plus de choses que je pensais et j'ai découvert combien la tâche peut être bien plus compliquée qu'on pense. Mais c'est tellement valorisant lorsqu'on arrive à aider un citoyen et que les sourires et remerciements nous montrent que l'effort en valait la peine.

Malgré qu'on voudrait toujours en faire plus et que certains trouverons qu'on en a pas fait assez, il n'y en a pas de facile! J'ai travaillé avec des bons collègues et j'ai bien apprécié leur soutien pour mes projets et tout ce que nous avons accompli ensemble.

Ceci étant dit, je me lance maintenant dans ma troisième course à la mairie en espérant que cette fois sera la bonne.

J'apprécie beaucoup l'appuie soutenue dans cette nouvelle tentative de mes collègues Benjamin Campin, Joëlle Gauthier et Jean Tourangeau et je leur souhaite bonne chance dans leurs campagnes respectives en espérant reprendre le travail déjà commencé.

Puisque ma boule de cristal ne fonctionne plus depuis belle lurette, j'ai bien hâte de voir qui composera ce nouveau conseil car il y a beaucoup de candidats en lisse, donc bonne chance à tous!

Nous sommes tous en attente de la décision démocratique du peuple, alors faites vos choix et votez pour les candidats qui semblent s'aligner à votre vision de notre belle municipalité de

Val-des-Monts.

Candidat à la mairie aux élections de 2021

Ensemble pour le bien de la communauté!

Dear citizens of Val-des-Monts,

I'm ending my first term as District # 6 councilor with a feeling of accomplishment. When you get into politics, you do it with lots of good intentions, lots of projects and a determination to help your community. I learned a lot more than I thought and discovered how much more the task can be than I thought. But it's so rewarding when you manage to help a citizen and when the smiles and thanks show that the effort was worth it.

Although we would always like to do more and some will find that we have not done enough, there is no easy one! I've worked with good colleagues and appreciated their support for my projects and all that we have accomplished together.

That being said, I am now embarking on my third race for mayor, hoping this time will be the right one.

I very much appreciate the continued support in this new attempt by my colleagues Benjamin Campin, Joëlle Gauthier and Jean Tourangeau and I wish them good luck in their respective campaigns, hoping to resume the work already started.

Since my crystal ball hasn't been working for a long time, I can't wait to see who will compose this new council because there are a lot of candidates running, so good luck to all!

We're all waiting for the democratic decision of the people, so make your choices and vote for the candidates who seem to align with your vision of our beautiful municipality of Val-des-Monts.
