The Apostrophe-Free Michaels The Arts & Crafts Store in Pinecrest Shopping Centre.
This Michaels is located next to the Ottawa IKEA store in the Pinecrest Shopping Centre on Pinecrest/Greenbank in western Ottawa. I applied to work here just after taking this photo. I actually have had a job interview here before, in 2005, but it didn't really pan out due to my being half-an-hour late for the interview (since I was new to Ottawa at the time and took the wrong bus, probably either the 85 or 97, and had to walk a mile south on Pinecrest from Carling Avenue).
Ahhhh, art supplies... 123/365.
My late 365 because I was SO busy yesterday drawing shoes lol After class I went to Michael's and bought some art supplies and they were so expensive. Now I understand what they say.. you know you are an Art student when you spend more money than you have in art supplies (and cashiers have to help you with coupons.) I remember doing that at the portrait studio too, so I guess it's good karma! I'll be able to comment a few pics of you right now, gotta do laundry.. blah

New Beginnings For The Sisterhood
United by a desire to overcome their personal misfortunes, seven very different women formed an indelible bond and vowed to right wrongs wherever they found them. They've succeeded beyond their wildest dreams. After years known as the Vigilantes, Myra, Annie, Kathryn, Alexis, Yoko, Nikki, and Isabelle are enjoying their hard-won freedom and the chance at a normal life.
As it turns out, once you're a part of the Sisterhood, normal is a relative term. President Martine Connor, their long-time ally, has announced the formation of a top-secret organization. Officially, the CIC won't exist. Unofficially, they'll report directly to the president and tackle the jobs no one else can handle. For the Sisterhood, it's the end of an era--and the beginning of a whole new adventure. . .
Praise for Fern Michaels and her Sisterhood novels. . .
