About Me

I am an integrative therapist, which means that I draw from a range of therapeutic models. I work one-to-one with adult clients from a range of backgrounds, presenting with a variety of problems. I have over 15 years experience working for charitable counselling agencies and in private practice. I also accept employee assistance programme (EAP) referrals.

In 2012 I gained Accreditation status with the BACP. Accredited counsellors are those who have demonstrated that they are meeting a wide range of criteria, set to recognise high standards of knowledge, experience and development.

Additionally, I am a Registered Member of the BACP. The Register is a quality mark of accreditation by the Professional Standards Authority for Health & Social Care.

 My qualifications include:

• Advanced Diploma in Integrative Counselling
• Certificate in Counselling Skills
• Certificate in Counselling Theory
• National Centre for Eating Disorders (NCFED) Master Practitioner Diploma

The areas of counselling I deal with include:

I specialise in working with people who have concerns about their weight, and I have developed a treatment programme that works by building small, manageable changes that become lifestyle-intrinsic, in other words they feel natural and therefore sustainable.
