    CLUB NOTES 21/11/2016.
Hard luck to our U20 team and management who bowed out of the Championship after a semi final defeat to Eire Óg AET. The scoreline read 5-3 in favour of Eire Og at HT but our lads kept fighting and ended up 1-11 to 0-9 up with 5 minutes remaining but unfortunately could not hang onto the win. The concession of penalty and 2 dubious frees resulted in the game ending 2-12 a piece. That unfortunately was the end of the glaveys scores as Eire Og kicked on in Extra Time kicking 8 ponts despite great efforts by our lads. Thanks to both players, managers and Club secretary for their help &  commitment to the team
