Welcome to the home page of the Michaela Ambrose Fund.
The purpose of this site is to help communicate about and raise funds for 17-year-old Michaela Ambrose, of Roscoe, IL, who had osteosarcoma, a bone cancer in her right knee.
Please browse the site to get to know Michaela, to know what you can pray for, to find out about upcoming fundraising events, and to contact members of her extended family and friends who are a support to Michaela and her family.
Our initial goal is to raise $100K to help cover her family's huge costs associated with treating and recovering from cancer, and the impact to the family business. Here's how we're doing toward our goal of $100,000! Keep the temperature rising!
Michaela is a bright, brave, talented and spirited young lady, ever quick with a smile and always up for a challenge. She's showing great conviction, strong faith, impressive courage and an abundance of charity. Her focus is not on herself. She'd rather talk about and encourage others. She and her whole family are much more comfortable giving and preparing themselves for whatever comes than they are on expecting much of others. But with mounting medical expenses and a serious disruption to the time available to work on their family's Ambrose Greenhouse and Landscaping business, they need our help. Please join us and be part of this inspiring and unfolding journey.
Sorry, tickets to the Michaela the Brave benefit dinner are now sold out. We invite you to bid on auction items and donate online.
