Caramel Oaties

Melt in saucepan:
120 grams butter 
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
3 Tablespoons of golden Syrup

When melted and hot add 1 teaspoon baking soda that has been dissolved in 2 Tablespoons hot water.
Mix to foamy then add:
1 and 1/4 cups rolled oats
1 and 1/3 cups of desiccated coconut
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup plain white flour.

Mix to a dough.  
Using moist hands shape into a small ball and inside each ball put two squares of caramel filled chocolate.
Place on tray and press slightly. 
Once biscuits created and placed on tray,
bake in a 180 degree Celsius oven until golden. (About 15 minutes).

Makes 12 biscuits.
