About The Teachers


Mrs. Hood grew up in a  small town in northern Indiana. Her sister now owns the farm that her mother's family homesteaded! She loves California, but also loves returning to Indiana in the summer to visit relatives and friends.

Mrs. Hood got her Bachelor of Science in Child Development in 1986 from California State University, Fullerton. She holds a Master of Science in Educational Administration in 1992 from California State University, Dominguez Hills.

Mrs. Hood has been a teacher since 1986. Her first teaching assignment was in Los Angeles, where she taught until 1995. In 1995, she came to Rolling Hills School in Fullerton.

Mrs. Hood is married and has two children. She loves animals and has an American Eskimo dog named Holly. She recently rescued another dog from the pound. Her new dog is named Gracie and she is an American Cocker Spaniel, who snores and once fell in the pool!
Mrs. Michael grew up in West Virginia. She enjoys family and friends, the wildlife, and the wide-open spaces that are there, but she is proud to call California "Home." She loves California's sunshine and the friendly people.

Mrs. Michael received her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Fairmont State College in Fairmont, West Virginia. She worked for WV-Pro Ed while taking graduate courses in Early Childhood Education at West Virginia University. She holds a Master of Science Degree in Elementary Reading and Literacy from Walden University.

Mrs. Michael moved to California in 1995. In September of 1996, she began her teaching career at Rolling Hills School in Fullerton.

Mrs. Michael is married and has three children: Breanna, James, and Sarah-Maria. She loves spending time traveling and playing games with her family. She has three big dogs and some other pets too!

Miss Judd was born and raised in California. She grew up in Fullerton, lived in Los Angeles for college, and is back living in Fullerton - less than a mile away from Rolling Hills!

Miss Judd holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Occidental College in Los Angeles, where she also minored in Religious Studies. In 2006, Miss Judd earned her Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential from California State University, Fullerton. While in school for her credential, Miss Judd spent time working as a nanny, aiding in an autistic classroom, coaching high school tennis, substitute teaching and volunteering at Rolling Hills.

Miss Judd is an alumnus of Rolling Hills and is absolutely thrilled to be teaching at her former elementary school! In 2007, she began her teaching career in the MP3 and is delighted to now be working in the K3 ABC. Miss Judd went through the multi-age program as a child and is so happy to be working in an environment that supports her philosophy of multi-age education.

Miss Judd loves sports, especially tennis and soccer! She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends, taking pictures, going to the beach and traveling! Miss Judd has been to 23 countries in four continents and can't wait to see more of the world!
