I got my BSc from Istanbul Bilgi University in 2001, under the supervision of Ali Nesin.
I got my PhD from the UW-Madison in 2008, under the supervision of Nigel Boston.

Prior to my current position, I held post-doctoral positions at the
Number Theory Group of the University of Warwick, UK. (where I was a Marie Curie Research Fellow)
Algebra and Geometry Group of the University of Barcelona, Spain.
Arithmetic Geometry Group of the University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany.

I also held long-term visiting positions at the
