Spring 2013 Edition: Fridays 2-5pm, B&E building, room 206This is the website for MGT 780: Social Network Analysis, a Ph.D. level course taught each Spring by Steve Borgatti under the auspices of the University of Kentucky LINKS Center. Drop-ins welcome. Here is the schedule for 2013. Note that this year we will also be streaming the class lectures via Adobe Connect. See the distance learning link for more information. The objective of the course is to learn how to do social network research. As such, the focus is on the theoretical concepts and methodology of social network analysis. We do not focus on the empirical findings of the field to date. For that, take Dan Brass's course, which is usually taught in the preceding Fall, but this year will be taught concurrently. Please note this website replaced an even older class website, but the old site still has quite a bit of stuff on it that has not been copied over. Don't get the schedule from the old course mixed up with the new. | News!
