About us...

The Dragon Rider Club was formed
in 1991 with the aim of promoting good riding skills and attracting people (regardless of background, type of motorcycle owned or licence held) who share one common interest, Motor-Cycling.

The club membership covers the whole spectrum of riding abilities.

We are a lighthearted bunch of easy going motorcyclist who enjoy the company of other motorcyclists.

Everyone is welcome to come along to a ride out or meeting and see for themselves, you never know you might enjoy yourself.

The club organises several trips every year, including several weekends away in the UK, European trips and visits to the IOM to enjoy racing and classic bikes.

Club members take part in a Sunday hide outs and in the summer months evening runs are also available. The speed of these runs is dictated by the speed of
the slowest rider in the group.
Bike runs start in the old Kwik
Save car park Mold, Chester

Road next to Checkpoint.

As well as the main Sunday ride outs, members organise other
runs for those with classic bikes and
or lower capacity machinery, where routes taken are more suitable to a slightly more sedate pace.

The club operates a ride your own ride but wait at the next junction riding system, which means everyone can ride at their own pace, and everyone arrives together at the destination, usually a cafe for breakfast.

Monthly evening meetings are held at the Queens Head, Chester Road, Mold on the 1st Tuesday every month at 8.00pm where formal discussion is conducted.

The club is not run by a committee,
and as a club member, you have
as much say in the way the club is run as any other paid up club member.

Membership fees are currently
£10 p.a.
fees cover Third Party Insurance for ride outs and administration
of the club. We are affiliated
to the BMF (British Motorcycle Federation).

Another benefit of membership is a monthly newsletter, which includes, ride reports, future events, and stories of members adventures, and the odd mis-adventure.
