Dr. Muhammad Faran Majeed [محمد فاران مجید] received his B.Sc. from the University of Peshawar, Pakistan, and Masters in Computer Science (MCS) from Kohat University of Science & Technology, Pakistan. In 2009, he joined CECOS University of IT & Emerging Sciences, Peshawar, Pakistan, and received a Master of Science in Computer Science (MSCS) degree with distinction. Later, Dr. Majeed joined the Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand, and completed his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science under the supervision of Prof. Matthew N. Dailey and Prof. Kanchana Kanchanasut (Internet Hall of Fame) in 2017. Currently, he is serving as an Associate Professor at the Department of Computer Science, Kohsar University Murree, Pakistan. In 2019, Dr. Majeed became approved supervisor by Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan. Dr. Majeed is a recipient of several ACM and IEEE Travel Grants for top-tier conferences such as ACM ICN 2016 Japan and Singapore 2016. He is also a recipient of the Travel Grants for Summer School in Heidelberg, Germany, and Manila, Philippines. He is an active member of ACM/IEEE and serves several reputed conferences/journals as a TPC and Reviewer. His research interests include Cloud Computing, Ad hoc Networks, Future Internet Architectures, Sensor Networks, Vehicular Communication, Agile Software, and Distributed Artificial Intelligence.
