The original reason for building this website was to tell the quilting world about the Mexico City Quilt Guild, but as time passed I started adding information I thought would be useful for our growing community of quilters in Mexico so the result is this “crazy” website. I hope you enjoy it …regardless! You will find lots of pictures of the beautiful quilts made by the MCQG ladies , and then some! I have also listed LOTS of links that offer free patterns.

La razón original de construir este sitio fue informar al mundo del quilting acerca del Mexico City Quilt Guild, pero conforme pasó el tiempo empecé a agregar información que pensé sería útil para nuestra creciente comunidad de quilters en México, así que lo que resultó fue este sitio “crazy”. Espero que lo disfruten de todos modos! Encontrarán fotos de los hermosos quilts hechos por las miembros del MCQG, y más! He incluído también una lista de MUCHOS sitios que ofrecen patrones gratis.

Our Guild has been around since the late 1980's. We've had members from different countries around the world so our experience has been enriched with different tastes for colors, textures and the expression of each quilter's creativity.
Somos un grupo de más de 20 aficio
nadas al quilting y nos reunimos cada Jueves para pasárnosla muy divertidas compartiendo la pasión que tenemos en común.
Nuestro grupo se inició al final de los 80's. Hemos tenido miembros de diferentes países alrededor del mundo así que nuestra experiencia se ha enriquecido con diferentes gustos de colores, texturas y la expresión de la creatividad de cada quilter.
