About Us: Kiwanis is an international service organization dedicated to "Serving the Children of the World®". The Metropolis Kiwanis Club meets every Tuesday at noon at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 520 Ferry Street in Metropolis (click for a map). Parking is available behind the church (east side). Enter at the northeast or southeast corner of the building, come down a half flight of stairs, and you will find us. We welcome all interested individuals to contact us, join us as a guest at a meeting, and learn about becoming a member of our organization.
You are welcome to read our Information Document for Perspective Members and this colorful two-page brochure (pdf) to "Discover What We're All About". Another good way to learn about our club and the things we do is to look through our past newsletters and photographs, available via the navigation panel on the right side of this page.
A Schedule of Upcoming Programs at our weekly meetings can be found at this link.
Organization: You can contact our officers if you need more information:
We also have a number of committees that help to plan and guide the work of our club. A document listing the committees and their members and describing the committee functions can be found here. This document also describes the makeup of our club's board.
