The MetroLacrosse Stale Doughnuts are men's Over-30 and Over-40
post-collegiate club lacrosse teams that are primarily comprised of the
coaches, volunteers and supporters of MetroLacrosse.
MetroLacrosse is a non-profit organization whose mission is to address the social
and economic disparities that exist in urban settings by inspiring personal,
educational and athletic success among urban youth and teens.
The Stale Doughnuts play in the Olde New England Lacrosse League (ONELL)
summer lacrosse league, and consist of the Red Stale Doughnuts (Over-30 Division) and the Blue Stale Doughnuts (Over-40 Division).
The 2013 ONELL season begins the second week of June. The Over-40 Division Blue Stale Doughnuts play on Tuesday nights, beginning June 11, and the Over-30 Division Red Stale Doughnuts play on Thursday nights, beginning June 13. The ONELL regular season consists of 8 weeks of games, followed by the playoffs, semi-finals and championships (the second, third and final weeks of August). As a summer league, there is a bye week for the 4th of July holiday week, and the ONELL concludes play before the Labor Day holiday.
