Information Sessions

General Info Sessions

During these sessions, we help you determine if a career as a Medical Lab Technician or working in a biotech company is right for you.  The information session begins with an industry overview, and a discussion of the type of disposition that is a good fit for these fields. After, presenters provide a summary of the Skilled Careers in Life Sciences (SCILS) Initiative and who is eligible for tuition support. Then, we take an in-depth look at programs that are supported by SCILS and their prerequisites, as well as an overview of other training programs (not funded by SCILS) that may be of interest.

Information sessions are typically offered in late October/November and again in May/June.
