Meter Information Station

In Make 11 there is a  great project/article from Tom Igoe that uses an Arduino, a Classic DC Volt Meter and some connecting code to display the local Air Quality Index. I found it to be terribly interesting in its simplicity and usefulness. After some research into price and complexity I found that this was within my reach. As a true hacker/maker does, I had to find a way to make it my own. So I decided that I would drive not one but four meters. (What I was going to display on the extra three, I  had no idea.) This being my first physical computing project I put together a parts list and awaited a visit from the UPS truck.

2/20/08 I just got an email from a co-worker informing me that this project made the print version of Make: (issue 13). Unfortunately I am out of town this week so I don’t get to see it until I get home on Friday. To the editors/publishers: Thanks! To the readers: Please let me know if you have any questions.
