PTO Meeting Dates for 2017-2018

Plans are underway to create a rock path that celebrates our children’s individuality inspired by the book “Only One You.” You might have seen this project online (http://www.scarymommy.com/only-one-you-sharon-elementary-painted-rocks-art-project/).

This project is planned to be completed this year thanks to the help of the Mrs. Foster and Mrs. Costello, MGS PTO, Amy Abney, Lindsay Crispen,Laura MacNeil, Olivia Mason, Cathy Pribble, Sarah Seckler, Alysia Short, Shay Stoops-Rona, and Renee Udell.

MGS PTO was generously donated rocks by Dutch Landscaping so that every MGS may paint a rock. Mid-April students will paint rocks. If you are interested in assisting during that time please contact

Meghan Peterson at 309-369-3061.

2018 Spring Staff Appreciation

Come be Bad to the Bone with us as we throw a Bodacious 80's themed spring staff appreciation event on Tuesday, May 8th.

Help us round up some gnarly snacks and candy for the staff at our beloved MGS!

Greg Harman presented Lisa DeVore the PTO President with a donation. This fundraiser continues through March 31st.

Greg Harman - State Farm Agency is proud to partner with the Metamora Grade School PTO. Greg will make a $25 donation to the PTO for every auto & home/renters insurance quote where the PTO is mentioned. No purchase necessary. It’s as simple as that!

His office is located across from Casey’s at 401 Woodland Knolls Rd., Germantown Hills. Please stop by his office M-F 9am-5pm or call 309-383-4141. This promotion will continue until March 31st. We hope the partnership is a huge success to the PTO.
