Lynn took up the craft of weaving after she moved to Las Cruces, New Mexico in 2010. The beauty of New Mexico (the breathtaking sunset colors, vivid blue of the sky) was one of the main reasons for her move to Las Cruces, and Lynn attempts to transfer this beauty to her weaving's.
While Lynn has worked in other fiber related crafts such as knitting, crocheting and embroidery, the first time she sat at her little table loom and started beating the weft on her first project, she was captured by the beauty, serenity and meditative aspects of weaving and knew this would be a lifelong passion.
Lynn primarily does weft faced weaving. She is lucky to have the generosity and experience of the Mesilla Valley Weavers guild members guide her on her path in weaving. Her husband is her biggest supporter in this craft. She has exhibited at the NM Farm and Ranch Museum, the Tombaugh Gallery and Branigan Cultural Center.
