Valley District Merit Badge College 2017

The Annual Valley District Merit Badge College will be held at Front Range Community College on Saturday, November 11th. Online registration begins October 18th and continues until November 8th. Classes are 'First Come, First Served', so the earlier you register, the more likely you'll be able to sign up for the Merit Badge classes you want. (Walk-ins are discouraged, as most of the classes are full by the date of the event).

Please keep in mind that each Scout may only complete 3 Eagle Required classes per merit badge college. Please only sign up for 3 Eagle Required classes.

Over 45 different merit badges will be offered. Attending the class does NOT guarantee you'll earn the Merit Badge, as many of the merit badges have requirements that can NOT be completed at merit badge college. The merit badge counselors generally make themselves available to work with the scouts after college. The scout can always finish the merit badge with a troop merit badge counselor. Volunteers are needed to make this event a success. If you are attending MB College, please volunteer to be a merit badge counselor, assist a merit badge counselor, or help out at any of the other positions. Please contact Pete Winslow at to volunteer. Thanks in Advance!

You have until midnight Wednesday, November 8th to sign up!! Any changes after that will be done at Merit Badge College Registration Desk.

Class times are:
Period 1: 8:00 am - 9:30 am
Period 2: 9:40 am - 11:10 am
Period 3: 11:20 am - 12:50 pm then LUNCH
Period 3a: LUNCH then 11:40 am - 1:10 pm
Period 4: 1:20 pm - 2:50 pm
Period 5: 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm

Lunch is included and is a large slice of pizza and a cold beverage. Additional slices may be purchased once everyone has been served. Snack items are available through out the day. You may bring your own lunches, though there is no place to store then during class.

Cancellation Policy: Please contact if you have to cancel, so we can offer the classes you signed up for to another scout. Thank you. Due to the fees that Doubleknot charges for credit card use, we will not be able to reimburse registration fees.
