Meridith McNeal recent studio work

In addition to exhibition specific work for Liar, Liar and Liberty Clouded, for the past few years I have been working on a series of very large pen and ink and watercolor Windowphilia or window paintings.

The current Windowphilia pieces are Inside/Outside windows exploring the precarious and terrifying idea of being on one side or the other of imprisonment.

The Sperlonga and Brooklyn windows were exhibited in Sperlonga in spring 2012.  This one person exhibition was called 50/50.   The first batch of  Roman Windows were exhibited in Day After Day in their own gallery in the Museum at SUNY Albany.
