All HIDOE schools and offices closed Monday, Feb. 9
Following Gov. Josh Green’s announcement Sunday regarding severe weather conditions impacting the state, and in alignment with his directive, the Hawaiʻi State Department of Education will implement the closure of all public schools and HIDOE offices statewide on Monday, Feb. 9, due to current storm conditions.
Applicability
This closure applies to all HIDOE public schools as well as state, district and complex area offices.
This direction applies only to the conditions associated with the current severe weather event and does not establish a standing practice for future closures.
All employees are excused from reporting to worksites tomorrow unless specifically notified by their supervisor.
Students and families
There will be no in-person instruction on Monday, Feb. 9.
Additional updates
The Department will continue to monitor conditions in coordination with state and emergency management officials.
Information regarding reopening or additional closures will be communicated through official channels as soon as it becomes available.

Drop Offs are allowed, but you must leave or park in the student or faculty parking lot
Only 3/16", 4mm or 1/4", 6.53mm pyramid spikes are allowed at all OIA Track Sites

New Ticket Policy: Card and Mobile Payment Only with GoFan
New this year, the Oahu Interscholastic Association (OIA) is pleased to
announce that we will be using GoFan for digital ticketing for OIA events. Fans
can purchase tickets online through the OIA GoFan page or by presenting a card
or mobile payment option at the ticket gate. All major credit cards are accepted,
along with Apple Pay and Google Pay.
The new ticketing policy allows the OIA to operate a more efficient and
professional ticket gate while elevating the fan experience. Buying tickets online
allows fans to access and share tickets easily by email or text without standing in
line.
Fans are encouraged to buy tickets online prior to reaching the facility. For your
convenience, signage will be set up at the venue to help fans navigate an online
purchase quickly and easily.

Host School Pep squad members will be allowed to enter without paying if they are in their team uniform

ATHLETIC CLEARANCE PROCEDURES & FORMS:
All student-athletes must have athletic clearance prior to participation. Athletic Packets are available in the main office and Athletic Training Room during summer months, or in the College & Career Center and Athletic Training Room during the school year (August-May). Contents of the packets include:
1. Moanalua High School Athletic Department Parent Athlete Handbook
2. Athletic Participation Procedures
3. Parent Consent Liability Form for Participation
4. Department of Education Physical Examination Form
5. Processing Fee ($10.00) envelope
6. Athletic Department Booster Club Membership Form (Donation $20-$125)
Completed forms (Parent Consent and Liability Form, Processing fee of $10.00, and DOE Physical Form) must be turned in to the Athletic Training Room or the Athletic Department tray in the Main Office. A pink slip will be available for pick up in the Athletic Training Room, after school, when the forms are processed (24 hours within receipt of packet). This pink slip is the athletic clearance to participate and is good for 1 school year. Pink slips must be given to the head coaches prior to participation. Student athletes who are already athletically cleared and wish to try out or participate in another sport during the school year must obtain another copy of their pink slip (athletic clearance).
Process to obtain additional pink slip:
1. Call or make request from Athletic Trainers (837-8065 or Bldg S across from locker room)
2. Pink slips will be ready for pick up at the Athletic Training Room 24 hours after they receive your packet.
