Caramelized Broccoli is a must-try for broccoli lovers and haters alike. Yummy!
2 medium-sized heads of broccoli
2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt + Pepper
You can add other seasonings like chili flakes, lemon, fancy schmancy Himalayan salt, whatever you want.
Chop broccoli into bite sized florets and heat a pan over medium high heat. Place olive oil in pan. When the oil is hot, add the broccoli florets and stir. Cook, covered for 2 minutes. Stir and repeat, until the broccoli is bright green and browned on some sides. Season and serve. For me this takes about 10 minutes, but it really depends. When you caramelize the broccoli, the flavors really develop and taste so good. You have to try it!
