Private Yoga Sessions

Personal Pose Building

This class is for those who need personal insight into their yoga practice.

Suitable for all levels, the classes are dictated by the needs of the student. In a Personal Alignment class, students bring specific poses they'd like to work on.

In this class, poses are broken down into their basic parts and built from the ground up. Prerequisite poses are assessed to allow the student to fine tune all skills necessary to progress in their goals.

Restorative

The environment of a Restorative Yoga Class is very subdued with dim lights and soft music.

Restorative yoga allows the student to practice yoga without strain and with as little effort as possible.

With an emphasis on passive stretching, all poses are fully supported using multiple props and held for several minutes.

It is a very healing experience, ideal to balance out a busy lifestyle. Practicing Restorative Yoga allows you to slow down, draw inward, and fully relax.

Prenatal Yoga

This yoga class is specifically designed for your needs in every trimester of pregnancy. Connect your mind, body, and spirit as you increase your bond with your baby.

The class focuses on poses to strengthen the pelvic muscles as well as the back and abdominal muscles to help make pregnancy more comfortable as well as prepare you for the experience of childbirth.

Prenatal yoga is also designed to help alleviate the common aches and pains of pregnancy such as sciatica, back pain, and swelling.

The ultimate goal of prenatal yoga is to help your relax and cope with the changes in your body while connecting to your baby and preparing for the miracle of childbirth.

Strength and Flexibility Sequencing

This is a foundational Hatha/Vinyasa yoga class.

Suitable for beginner or intermediate students, it is alignment-oriented and emphasizes poses and flows to increase core strength and flexibility, while connecting movement to the breath.

Poses are introduced at their fundamental levels with modifications and options offered for students as they progress in their yoga practice.

Students can expect a full exploration of the body’s range of motion with standing, kneeling, and seated poses, back bends, forward folds, twists, and hip openers.

Power Vinyasa Sequencing

This Vinyasa yoga class is more quickly paced than my Strength and Flexibility class.

Suitable for more experienced beginners or intermediate students, it emphasizes the flowing connection of movement to breath in poses for increased cardiovascular strength and flexibility.
