Welcome to the Medway Elementary Parent Teacher Organization website! 

Here you have access to all sorts of information about PTO sponsored programs. The Medway Elementary PTO is made up of all volunteers and all funding for PTO sponsored programs comes from fundraisers held throughout the year. Last year MEPTO raised $33,000! MEPTO gifted $28,000 to the schools. $4,000 was used for teacher gift cards worth $50 to Walmart for school supplies. The last $1,000 was used to start a new teacher grant program.

Teacher Appreciation Week and Luncheon

Teacher Appreciation Week is coming next month (May 18-22). More info to come, but we are looking for volunteers to help with the Faculty and Staff Appreciation Luncheon on May 21. If you can lend a hand, please contact Nancy Williamson (nnw67@yahoo.com) for McGovern and Lori Rossi (princeaj_0604@yahoo.com) for Memorial.

Over the next month, MEPTO is proud to sponsor a number of enrichment and special events for our elementary students, including Dinoman (4th grade on May 7, 2nd grade on May 8); Science Works for 1st grade (May 7 & 8); and Sound of Silence for 4th grade on May 29. Be sure to ask your kids about these events -- we'd love to get their feedback!


Recycling Drive 

Students in Room 1 at McGovern School are organizing a community recycling drive! Please consider donating your empty printer cartridges, cell phones, small electronics (GPS, digital cameras, headsets, MP3, ipods) and laptops. Children are welcome to bring small items in from home if they are easy to carry and can be dropped off in the labeled boxes. If they are too heavy, parents may drop them off before or after school hours. Recyclables from businesses are very much appreciated! This collaborative effort will help raise money for new school technology.

Book Fair at Memorial School
The second book fair of the year is happening this week at Burke-Memorial! This fair will provide parents with a great opportunity to stock up on books for spring and summer reading! A huge selection of books for reading levels Pre-K through 6th grade - and beyond are available. 


Tuesday April 14:

7:30-8:30 a.m.4-7 p.m.
 

Wednesday April 15:

2-7 p.m.
 

Thursday April 16:

12-3 p.m.
