For the Glory of God and my Neighbor’s Good” is the theme chosen by Jim R, President of the Friends (Auxiliary).
Our Goals for 2017 (the Auxiliary’s 64th year) are:  Good Samaritan Fund - $66,000; Brethren Home Education Assistance Program (BHEAP) - $7,500; Professional Artists series - $3,500; Friends Operations - $3,000; for a TOTAL of $80,000.

The Membership dues to support The Friends 2017 membership goals are:  Annual Membership - $5.00; Annual Patrol Membership - $30.00 and Lifetime Membership - $100.00 (may be renewed).  Look for Nancy S. in the narthex to pay your Membership Dues.  Please make checks out to “The Friends”.

·         Friday, February 17th – Friends Bake Sale – 8am to 2pm at Nicarry Meetinghouse.  Baked items are due by Wednesday evening, February 15th or Thursday morning to Noon in Fellowship Hall. 
                                                                        Ideas:  Fudge, brownies, pies, etc.  Please SIGN UP in the narthex. 

·         March 4th – Spring Friends Meeting – 10 AM – Program:  Chucki L.-E. of Brookside Memory Care Residence.  Let’s fill up 2 cars. 

·         March 19th and 26th – Sunday Escorting – We’ll need six (6) Escorts, ages 13 or over who are able to push a wheel chair.  Please SIGN UP in the narthex. 

New Hope Ministries

Founded in 1982, New Hope Ministries has assistance centers in Dillsburg, Dover, Hanover, and Mechanicsburg, PA which serve parts of York County and the West Shore area of Cumberland County. Services are available to people regardless of their age, race, gender or religious affiliation.

We provide:

  • Emergency crisis assistance
  • Food pantries
  • Rent/Mortgage assistance
  • Prescription, medical, dental and eye care assistance
  • Utility assistance
  • Transportation assistance
  • Counseling
  • Referral services
  • Children and youth programs
  • Holiday food baskets and gifts

In addition to these basic needs, we offer ongoing support and guidance to help people become self-sufficient and stable over the long term.  We help close to 13,000 individuals each year.

Camp Eder

The Camp Eder Board is pleased to announce Bryan Smith as our Executive Director, effective February 13, 2017.

Bryan, his wife Kelli, and their children are coming from Quakertown, PA.  Bryan brings a vital & mature love for Christ, a strong background of experience as an executive director in Christian Camping leadership, and many ministry gifts for Camp Eder.
